Penn Collection
COLLECTION DESCRIPTION
The items contained within the "Penn Collection" were donated to Temple University in the 1950s. The collection itself is comprised of objects from countries across the world, such as Mexico, Peru, India and China. Some examples of the items in the collection are: Native American beadwork, particularly from the Sioux Nation, Ceramic miniatures and figurines from Mexico, a set of flagellation chains from India, chocolate beaters from Ecuador, and several insect cocoons.
